Recent figures
estimate the cost of a data breach at over $200 per lost record. Don’t
let this headline happen to you!
You may think your
company only has order history, credit card data or customer mailing
lists. This data (as well as other data in your environment that you
don’t know about) could be considered sensitive personal information.
By holding this data, not only is your company obligated to manage it in
the best interest of your consumers, but you may need to be in
compliance with Federal and State laws. To help manage this data,
companies are starting programs to manage information and data
throughout its life cycle.
Our
speaker, David Frei, is a Certified Information Systems Security
Professional and a
Certified
Information Privacy Professional with the Richmond office of KPMG.
David will be presenting a non-technical overview on the following
topics:

When you arrive for the meeting: Enter through the
second West Guard Gate on Forest Avenue. Check in with the Security Guard
(you will need to show a driver's license/picture ID), and park in the
Visitor's Lot. PMUSA employees, show your badge. The
Auditorium is opposite the main entrance to the Headquarters Building.
Cost:
$15 per person, for members, guests and visitors. You may pay in one of three ways:
