TKL was started in 1984 by Tom and Donna Dougherty and has grown into a leading supplier of the most comprehensive line of musical instrument cases, bags, and covers in the music industry. A long list of artists endorse their cases, including Alan Jackson, Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi, and Dee Snider of Twisted Sister.

Today TKL has over 63,000 square feet of manufacturing, distribution, and R&D space in Virginia and numerous domestic and international joint ventures and strategic alliances. Their dedicated people ensure TKL  provides these high quality cases just-in-time to their domestic and international musical instrument manufacturers and distributors.
